Meet The Spa Staff
Molly is from Largo, Fl. She graduated from the Cortiva Institute of Massage in Pinellas Park, Fl in 2012. Molly believes that everyone needs touch in their lives, and she knows that not everyone has had a positive experience with touch. She is passionate about facilitating a service of care and healing for each guest that she comes into contact with, and she sees massage as a positive and healing form of touch. Molly specializes in therapeutic modalities including myofascial and neuromuscular techniques and both hot stone and bamboo massage. Molly is certified in Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, and Swedish Massage, and has taken additional courses addressing orthopedic assessment to cervical vertebrae and reduction of headaches.

Corrie is from Columbus, GA and attended Columbus Technical College. She began her career with the Arbor Spa in 2012. Corrie appreciates the easygoing and relaxing moods encouraged by the spa environment. Her objective is to go beyond the client’s expectations, whether they come for beauty, relaxation, or advice. Sanitation, long lasting polish, and expert massages are at the top of her list. Corrie is passionate about the science behind nail care, skin care, and massage, and she will analyze any underlying problems her guest presents to determine the best treatments and products for their optimum health benefit. A good manicure or pedicure is sometimes more than just beauty and relaxation, and Corrie’s goal is to help her clients keep their skin and nails in optimum condition. Corrie specializes in manicures, pedicures, foot and leg massage, Foot Fantasy Treatment, Peloid Mud Therapy, and Herbology Treatment.

Lynn Reynolds is a native of the Athens area and a 25 year veteran in the skin care industry. She has used her knowledge and skills as an esthetician, a director of a medical spa, and as an instructor of esthetics in the Technical College System of Georgia. She is a member of the Associated Skincare Professionals and is certified in: microcurrent, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and several other modalities. She is passionate about skin care and with helping people with all their skin care needs.

Mikayla Shiflet is originally from Hartwell, GA. She attended Athens Technical College where she completed her Cosmetology and Esthetics training. She specializes in skincare, waxing, and nailcare. She is passionate about determining the target ingredients and treatments that work best for various skin types and conditions to achieve the best results for each of her clients on an individual level. Not only does she strive to give her clients the highest quality service they deserve, but peace of mind as well. That’s why infection control is her top priority in each and every service she provides.

Kristen Elrod is originally from the Athens, GA area. She spent a few years living in Greenville, SC where she graduated from the Carolina School of Massage in 2016. She is passionate about the mind/body connection and it all started in a yoga teacher training at Five Points Yoga here in Athens. After teaching yoga and being a massage therapist for a few years, Kristen pursued a life coach training to help people reach their goals and overcome the mindset blocks holding them back. Her specialty is a classic Swedish Massage with the incorporation of Neuromuscular techniques that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
Kristen grew up on a farm.
She is the oldest of 5 children and loves being part of a big family.
She has a fabric design degree from UGA and spent a few years as a textile designer.
Emily Growden has lived in Athens for over twenty years, and is excited to be a part of the Arbor Spa Associates team. She hopes to establish long-term relationships with the Arbor's guests, while maintaining high standards of excellence in the service of her client's manicure and pedicure needs. Emily is an Air Force Brat, and grew up in Florida, Virginia, Egypt, and Pennsylvania before moving to Athens to attend the University of Georgia. Like so many other UGA students, once she experienced Athens, she couldn't leave. She loves being an active member of the community of her adopted home.
-Emily studied Voice at UGA, and is a musician who plays in several Athens musical groups.
-She has a Louisiana Mudhound named Bette Davis, a Tonkinese cat named Paolo Carlo, and a husband named Derek, and she will tell you alllll about them if you get her started.
-She has traveled to five continents so far.
